Waiting Til Three - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Waiting Til Three
With the release of the album Nowhere Bound, Waiting Til Three brings a new feel to a classic genre. Lush, with addicting progressions, a classic rock approach, and pop undertones throughout, the record boasts the aesthetic of indie rock anthems. Though the songs are diverse from one another, there is a glue that holds it all together much like a concept album would. Most importantly, the record never loses sight of the emotional platform great songs are built from.

The first single, “18 & The Rules Change”, is a classic rock powerhouse. Complete with a bouncing rhythm, catchy melody lines, and loads of energy, the song seems to breathe and build as it plays on.

“Turning 18, life gets thrown at you fast and you have to start making important decisions for yourself. As the song moves along, Jesse sings about turning 25 and still feeling the same pressure to make important ‘adulting’ decisions, ” explains the band of thier single.

Although the single does speak volumes for the album, to get a real understanding of where Waiting Til Three are coming from, it should be heard in its entirety.

“I think the entire album is about struggling with what life throws at you, particularly as a young adult. 18 & The Rules Change is a good introduction to what you will hear throughout the album. Songs about dealing with change, love and tragedies, sung and performed with real emotion and passion,” says drummer Grant of the album and song writing approach.

Conceived in a small Rocky Mountains town, Waiting Til Three is composed of guitarist/ vocalist Jesse Hughes and drummer Grant Payton. Being a lifelong musician, Hughes had set up a home studio and rehearsal space in his Grand Lake cabin after relocating from Austin TX. After some time, Grant, a good friend, needed a pace to crash and Hughes let him stay for a while. As their friendship took shape, Jesse asked Grant to hop on the drums to accompany him in writing some songs. Before long their sound also took shape and things quickly escalated. Soon after, the duo was playing local bars and venues. Eventually the two decided to relocate to Yuba City, CA to continue the bands progression. With a new found urge to write new material, the duo went to Chicago to record in a studio Grant’s uncle had put together. It was then that the Nowhere Bound album was finally born. A huge step forward for the band, the release is the epitome of where they are with their sound right now.

The album is now available for streaming and downloads on most major digital outlets, and the band is planning on performing up and down the front range of the Denver, CO area in support of their release.
Dave Connelly - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Dave Connelly
Dave is a talented, innovative singer, songwriter and musician, progressively emerging onto the Colorado music scene through looping and live performances.

Dave Connelly taking the Colorado music scene by storm is no surprise. His quickly recognized talent, mixed with his unique style of looping and audience engagement is unlike any other in recent years. Walking away from his high-powered career in finance to chase the music that refused to stay silent, Connelly chose to follow his calling. This decision has paid off nearly overnight.
Married a Dead Man - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Married a Dead Man
Married a Dead Man formed in July 2016 from the remnants of hardcore band OK Holiday, where Jaime (drums) and Gwyneth (guitar) decided to form their own female based goth-influenced project. Veteran bassist Travis was added a few weeks later. Black clad kindred spirits, Megan (vocals and keyboards) and Jaime met volunteering for Girls Rock Denver, a non-profit organization that empowers young girls through music.

Brought together by disparate influences, the band creates an eclectic mix of goth, shoe-gaze and dark-wave, culminating a unique Denver-based sound. They collectively have 30+ years experience performing, recording and touring.

With their forthcoming debut EP, The Haunt, Married a Dead Man has a host of local gigs, and will be touring in late 2017 into 2018.
